NEILIANE ARAUJO - "Synthesis"
Geometric abstraction, chance and repetition are factors that mark Neiliane's production. According to the artist, “There is always a desire to review patterns and think about interpersonal relationships, relationships with the economy and waste, as well as observing and valuing the shapes and formats of things.”.

When we met at the workshop, Neiliane greeted me saying she was hungry. Not by chance, his first drawing in the workshop clearly depicts a biscuit.
In the second drawing, in which you ask to focus only on a fragment of this biscuit, as well as in the artist's own description of her work, the abstraction and breaking of patterns transform the initial image into something else.
This complex structure, after the drawing's journey through the body and through space, becomes simplified, acquires essential features, bringing a “synthesis” of its sensory process.
